Pair Vintage Windsor Dining Chairs
A Windsor chair is a chair built with a solid wooden seat into which the chair-back and legs are pushed into drilled holes, in contrast to standard chairs, where the back legs and the uprights of the back are continuous.
The seats of Windsor chairs were often carved into a shallow dish or saddle shape for comfort. Traditionally, these chairs have “turned” legs and the back is formed from steam bent pieces of wood.
With a classic, timeless design, these well constructed chairs would work well in a cafe or restaurant, or equally well in a kitchen or dining room at home.
These vintage chairs are in good condition, though do have some wear consistent with their age and use, which adds to their character.
The cost shown is for the pair of chairs.
