Giant Vintage Wall Map of Africa

Printed in Germany in the 1962,  by Georg Westermann, this original giant vintage wall map of Africa shows “Colonial Development to Self Government”.

At over 2 metres high, it is printed on high quality paper and then backed with canvas.

This authentic classroom wall map shows the Political Structure of Africa in 1962, European Settlements and Possessions until 1824, Colonial Partitioning from 1824-1914, European Colonies until 1950 and Political Associations in 1962.

Big and bold, this statement piece is a great way to fill an empty wall space and is sure to become a talking point in any room or office.

It has wooden poles at the top and bottom, which helps it hang straight and rolls up easily for storage.

This vintage wall map of Africa, is in good condition, though does bear marks and wear consistent with its age and use and one small tear.
