Pair of Vintage Wooden Shoe Stretchers

This pair of vintage wooden shoe stretchers, would make a great decorative item in the home, or would be ideal as a prop in a retail environment too.

This pair is stamped with the manufacturers name and trademark, Miller, who were based in Northampton and were one of the largest factories in the world for the production of high-grade lasts.

They claimed that “style, originality and accuracy, combined with unlimited service, was the key-note of our success.”

Made of beech wood, they feature a metal key, which when turned, makes the piece extend, thus helping to stretch the leather shoes. They are stamped at the front with size “48”.

We mounted a collection of vintage wooden shoe lasts in our hallway, which makes for an interesting piece of wall art and a conversation starter too!

This is an authentic pair of vintage wooden shoe stretchers that have marks consistent with their age and use.
